Explain the main interface

Overview

On this interface, you can interact with 800 SPOT and FUTURES trading pairs on Binance.

We categorize asset pairs into two groups: SPOT and FUTURES.

  • SPOT is divided into three subgroups based on the quote asset: USDT, USDC, and BTC.

  • FUTURES is divided into two subgroups: USDⓈ-M and
    COIN-M.

The left menu bar is used to select the display group: SPOT or FUTURES.

The top-right tab bar is used to select a smaller subgroup: USDT, USDC, or BTC.

The central display area contains information about the trading pairs in the selected group.

Key Metrics

Total Bid Value is the total amount of all limit buy orders currently existing in the order book for a specific trading pair, calculated in the base currency (e.g., USDC, USDT, or BTC).

  • For example, if the Total Bid (BTC/USDC) is 71,575,400 USDC, this means that a total of 71,575,400 USDC is placed from all limit buy orders in the BTC/USDC pair. This represents the total amount of USDC buyers are willing to spend to purchase BTC in the order book at the current time.

Total Ask Value is the total amount of all limit sell orders currently existing in the order book for a specific trading pair, calculated in the base currency (e.g., USDC, USDT, or BTC).

  • For example, if the Total Ask (BTC/USDC) is 76,164,100 USDC, this means that a total of 76,164,100 USDC is being requested from all limit sell orders in the BTC/USDC pair. This represents the total amount of USDC sellers would receive for selling BTC in the order book at the current time.

  • Ask/Bid < 100%: Buy orders (Bid) outnumber sell orders (Ask). This indicates stronger demand compared to supply, which may lead to a price increase as more people are willing to buy than sell.

  • Ask/Bid = 100%: A balance between supply and demand. The market is in a stable state with no clear dominance from buyers or sellers.

  • Ask/Bid > 100%: Sell orders (Ask) outnumber buy orders (Bid). This shows stronger supply compared to demand, which may lead to a price decrease as more people are looking to sell than buy.

The Total Bid, Total Ask, and Ask/Bid Ratio in section
are calculated based on the combined values of all trading pairs within the selected group.

For example, the total value of 125 trading pairs in the SPOT-USDC group is:

  • Total bid: 141,338,454 USDC

  • Total ask: 465,756,220 USDC

  • Ask/Bid: 330%

Ask/Bid Ratio is the ratio between the total value of sell orders (Total Ask) and the total value of buy orders (Total Bid) for a trading pair. The formula is calculated as follows:
